Harbhajan struck again in his next over when he clean bowled Albie Morkel and two balls later had R Ashwin caught by Kieron Pollard at long-on to reduce Chennai to 136/7.

Kieron Pollard and Rohit Sharma took superb diving catches as Chennai Super Kings lost Micahel Hussey and MS Dhoni in successive overs.

Pollard took a superb diving catch at mid-wicket to dismiss Hussey off Lasith Malinga and in the next over had Dhoni (3) caught by Sharma at third man to reduce Chennai to 101/4.

Hussey hit 6 fours in his 33-ball 41 and added 60 runs for the third wicket with S Badrinath.

Dhoni looked to flick a delivery on the leg side to square leg, but early in the shot, he ended up edging it to third man where Sharma ran in a few yards and dived in front to complete a fantastic catch.

Chennai lost two quick wickets when Munaf Patel and Harbhajan Singh dismissed Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina respectively in successive overs.

Munaf gave Mumbai Indians the first breakthrough when he had Vijay caught by Rohit Sharma at first slip.

Vijay hit a six and a four in his 12-run knock that came off 9 balls.

In the next over, Harbhajan took a simple return catch to get rid of Raina.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma's 48-ball 87 and Andrew Symonds' 26-ball 31 took Mumbai Indians to 164/4.

Symonds hit 2 sixes and a four in his knock.

Sharma reached his fifty off 31 balls and his partnership with Symonds came after Mumbai lost their third wicket when Suraj Randiv had Ambati Rayudu stumped by MS Dhoni.

Rayudu hit 4 fours in his 29-ball 27 and added 61 runs with Rohit Sharma for the third wicket.

The partnership came after Doug Bollinger got the prized wicket of Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar looked to pull a short-pitched delivery but was late in the shot as the ball hit his glove and flew to the slips where Michael Hussey accepted the catch gleefully.

Albie Morkel gave Chennai Super Kings an early breakthrough when he had R Sathish caught by Srikkanth Anirudha at mid-wicket.

Morkel struck in the third over as Sathish failed to get off the mark.

The breakthrough came after Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and chose to bowl.

Chennai have replaced Tim Southee and Shadab Jakati with Suraj Randiv and Joginder Sharma.

Mumbai have brought in Harbhajan Singh in place of Ali Murtaza.

Tendulkar said he also would have fielded first, feels that due may be a factor and its better to chase on this surface.
